A party on April Fools Day?? I was hoping its not a joke. The almost two months old, Zar Cape Town was the venue, it was Hugo Eddy’s Birthday. I was so looking forward to my ZAR debut.
CTVibes rocked up at 10pm, Zar is beautiful hey, but it was packed.Mother nature also didnt help much as it started raining so people started moving inside. This became a problem because the venue is not that big, I was hoping this was considered when the ‘guest list’ was drawn up, was there even one phof?? The place was filled with relevant(and not so relevant) people. The party spirit was so alive.
There were some very yummy guys and ladies. Some ladies were slacking though, they didnt make much of an effort, guess they didnt know what Zar is all about. Big up to everyone that made an effort. To the rest, dress for the party and venue tuu!!
And then there was the VIP area, the best place to be away from the stampede. I chose not to be in the VIP area(incase you were wondering) because the real action happens in the non VIP area, and I love the stampede(NOT). But the VIP referee was strict hey, red cards were flying all over VIP. You act crazy, you out of VIP. Shame on you ladies that were red carded.
The party certainly felt like a party, not necessarily a Zar party, but a party is a party mos?? DJ OD(We love Him) got everyone dancing like crazy as always, aah such a nice guy, he is taken ladies! DJ Leon(from Joburg) killed it with old school hip-hop beats. Not sure about the rest of the Deejays…….I left after DJ Leons set, didnt want the party to die with me.
Mr Party was looking good and was all smiles. I guess he was certainly having a great time…..Kumnandi Ekapa…
