The Afrotainment crew came to Cape Town to kick start KeDezembaBoss…coming from the Metro FM Awards where DJ Cindo and Big Nuz won a couple of awards, they were so fired up for this one. Cape Town was ready, Meerendal Wine Estate was the venue on a beautiful Sunday, people rocked up in their summer outfits, camp chairs and gazebos.
Ladies were looking super fly; men were looking uber hot and sleek. Summer has landed in Cape Town Big Time hey. VIP was so relevant, sponsored by Bisquit cognac with nice set up and benefits *winks*. Drinks vouchers and prizes, it was certainly worth the R400 if not worth more.
Kaunda Muzical represented on the decks, nice jazzy set. Fisherman did major damage and got me dancing like crazy, throwing party bangers. DJ Cindo proved she deserved the Best Dance album as she gave us hit after hit, managing to make the crowd go crazy *bows*. Tira played some golden oldies, some Hip Hop and then of course the tight house jams.
The crazy response from the crowd when L’vovo and the rest of the Afrotainment rocked the stage proved that Afro is the business. From the ‘hiyo hiyo hiyo’, to the dance moves, to the sing alongs, the picnic was certainly a success. Booka T Entertainment certainly made the right decision by inviting the Afro crew to kickstart December…now it’s on…KeDezemba Boss. Spotted Brown Dash and Pitch Black Afro.
The after party venues were Tsoga and Zar. Thanks to Booka T Entertainment and sponsors. Looking forward to the next one.
