Bacardi is continuing their 150th birthday celebration this April with a 1920s-themed Prohibition Party in two cities. With music by 5-time SAMA nominated Mi Casa and 5fm’s Poppy, the parties are homage to the Bacardi legacy that saw thousands of fun-loving Americans travel to Cubaduring the Prohibition just to get their hands on a drink.
Bacardi’s encouraging everyone to join them in the spirit of rebellion, to dress to impress – 1920s style – and to come and party like it’s prohibited! Expect some surprises throughout the night…
Dress to impress- Ladies this means low-waisted dresses, bob haircuts and a touch of bohemian panache…. Gents this means Oxford Bags trousers, high-waisted jackets and your best hat.
Joining Mi Casa and Poppy on 13th April at Taboo in Jo’burg and 14th April at Casa Blanca Cape Town, are DJ Lyle from Ama Kings and DJ Loyd from Good Hope FM. It’s definitely going to be a party to remember!
