SABC1’s very first talent show dedicated to the art of acapella, The Sing Off SA, is calling on all Mzansi’s acapella artists to respond to a call-to-entry to the auditions process taking place across South Africa, from 14 – 29 March 2015.

What you need to prepare:
Prepare three (3) vocal performances – each no longer than three (3) minutes. Groups might not perform all songs but should be prepared.

Two (2) songs must be recognizable popular cover songs.
Medleys are allowed but should be no longer than three (3) minutes.
ALL musical styles are accepted.
Choreography, creativity, and dress are encouraged to enhance your performance.
Instruments and backing tracks are NOT allowed.
Beatboxing and all vocal sounds are encouraged.
Microphones will be provided at open call auditions.
Groups no bigger than 5 members
Sing and audition with what you know well
Be confident and perform for your judges on the day
Be creative with your music, interpretations and arrangements. Don’t be afraid to make the music your own!
Come in with an identity for your group that defines you from the others – a unique name, sound and look!
If you are not apart of a group, come through and make a group there! The music will make you!
Keep your key or note close by – use your pitching fork, tuner or even cellphone so you hit the right note for your audition
Come in hard with your best song.
