Belgian singing sensation Dana Winner is set to entertain South African audiences for two nights only. Fans who are in and around Johannesburg on September 11th and Cape Town on September 12th can look forward to her Special Arena Tour.
Dana Winner’s love relationship with South Africa has been ongoing for several years. She has sold over 400 000 albums in South Africa and set to release her latest album, Bloom, in South Africa.
The song ‘Lied van Hoop’ on this album pays homage to our beautiful country. The song was written by Rudi Muller and businessman Kobie Koen. You’ll also find two bonus tracks, As Jy My Aanraak and As Jy My Kon Verstaan, on the album.
According to Hugo Foets, event coordinator, the One Night Only shows will include Winner’s biggest hits – everything from ‘Droom van My Geluk’ to ‘Sproeitjies’.
Dana Winner was first introduced to the music industry in 1989 with The Carpenters’ big hit “Top of the World”. Hugo says Dana’s performances and shows boast breathtaking stage décor, a fantastic band and a few other surprises.
The 50 year old singer isn’t slowing down! Her biggest South African hits, include ‘Let the Children have a World’ and ‘In Love with You’. Her One Night Only tour is a celebration of love and the influence it has on music. It’s also evident that her most recent tour celebrates the age-old theme of love.
Dana Winner will be in Johannesburg at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City on September 11th and at The Grand Arena (Grand West Casino) in Cape Town on September 12th.
