The village celebrates its full year in existence this December on the 16th, although it is as young as it is, the village has housed some of South Africa’s most loved national artists namely, K.O (Teargas team member)  and Naak Musiq who was recently signed to the nationally acclaimed record label Afrotainment spear-headed by Dj Tira.

It is because of these many milestones achieved by the space that the owner Moses Gxothiwe has decided to end off what has been an incredible year of celebrating the strides the venue has made to steer positive change within a fast growing “Ekasi Economy”.

PROTEA FIRE & ICE! ROCKS THE MOTHER CITY ISLAND STYLE ON NEW YEAR’S EVE

NEW NYE TEASER 2015 NEW FRONT & BACK TEASER

It is almost time for the 6th edition of the Fire&Ice NYE party and it gets even better with the tropical theme.

New Church Street will be closed and transformed from downtown chic to edge-of-sea, with grass, beach sand and tropical trees and plants. Within the 600 square metres of pop-up beach some of South Africa’s coolest celebs and socialites and hottest party goers will be counting the minutes to New Year on a massive LED mesh screen. Confetti cannons and a lighting and laser show will pump colour and fantasy into the excitement of the night, and VVIPs can enjoy a view of it all from the first floor pool deck. Or if you choose to be a VIP, relax inside the hotel bar and simply live the show.

This year’s party comes just a few months after a revamp of the hotel’s social spaces, which has been a huge hit with all who have crossed the threshold. These inside spaces – as well as access to the inside bar area and toilets – will be open to those with VIP tickets.

With always a great lineup of DJs, on the decks this year will be Lulo Cafe, Fistaz Mixwell, Kaunda, Ashton Ables,Justeez as well as DJ Sphectacula and Naves.

The tickets will be available at the Fire&Ice Hotel soon. General admission costs R200, VIP goes for R400 and R1 500 for VVIP
